Some weeks ago I got in touch with Rima Ravindran, fine jewellery designer and creative director of Sublime Joaillerie.
Based in India, the company is said to be dedicated to the creation of contemporary luxury jewellery, which truly reflects in all of Rima’s exclusive works. Effortlessly elegant and with a slight focus to be easier affordable, Sublime Joaillerie aims to hold its clients and lovers in a “poetic trance” with each of the collections.
Complimenting the beauty of women with a deep focus on Rima’s mixed inspiration sources, all of her styles make a statement yet don’t seem too strong with the note of its romantic feminine appeal.
The designer’s first steps into the jewellery industry find their roots in the Middle East while working on her “Keishi Pearl” collection for Al Futtaim. Rima constantly worked on all of her collections while traveling the world. That’s why most of her designs are all unique closely connected to her experiences in the business.
Besides from various awards such as the Perles De Tahiti, she created designs for Swarovski’s Gem Vision 2011.
My favourite? The round diamond and citrine necklace (above) and the colourful bangle made of different gemstones (the perfect accessory for the upcoming summer!).
