Last day in Dubai?! Hello? Is that possible!? Yes, it sadly is.
The last walk to the beach, the last sunset (at which shot some amazing photos – don’t miss them out!) and the very last dinner (again at the Nobu).
That’s why I chose a piece I didn’t wear this season at all. Yet, it’s perfectly matching the hot temperatures (if not my teint…which kept pale ;)).
I’ve been always a great paisley admirer and if you look at my previous posts here and here you can convince yourself of my high praisings.
But if you asked me who’s the most classic and surely one of the prettiest among this pattern, I’d answer you with one name: Etro.
While paisley itself is always slightly wild in the classy scheme of patterns, I still can’t get over the brilliance the Italian fashion house is marking itself with their very own traditional but above all well known paisley mix.
That’s why it’s an even greater of the small dressing regrets in life that I haven’t pulled it until now. Maybe it’s because I first felt too pale (as much as I love purple…my skin colour won over it most of the time), then it was too cold, then not right for the different occasions (as you can see – that’s what I call a real plunging neckline and the back is not much more covered, too) and at the end of the day it kept one of these “will wear it some other day” pieces I preferred to look at rather than taking it out of the closet.
Mission of finally wearing it and matching with some golden details & colours? Completed! :)
