Silk Paisley

This jacket has once again proven my belief in love at first sight! As I’m a great paisley-lover, I couldn’t resist but to call it mine the moment I tried it. Thanks to Rainbow Store here in Cologne, I once again received a supercomfy way of shopping and still feel very happy with all the purchases. As I once said: Service is so rare in today’s world (and I don’t know whether it was any different in the past) that stores like Rainbow are completely outstanding. Competence and “the right feeling” for each customer  leads me back to this lovely place every time I’m back in town.

The best thing about this jacket? You can’t only wear it this way but also the other way round, which I will surely try with another kind of outfit soon (can’t wait to pull it on a lovely evening in Ibiza in a few days).

The classic paisley pattern still appears vibrant and modern in a simple black and white combination and pefectly fits my wardrobe (let’s face it: You can never go wrong with b/w and a classy pattern).

As silk already adds a fine note I tried to draw some laid back contrast with simple black pieces and the “darker” side of the jacket (I prefer the other side for a night’s out I guess). My loafers finish the slight pyjama-look yet don’t let it appear completely low keyed (simply impossible with this beauty of a jacket anyways).

For my nails, I chose a warm but dark berry tone (Manhattan No. 65W) matching my lipstick (YSL No. 12), which I didn’t wear that bold for the day.

Hope you enjoyed the weekend :).
