It’s already been a while since W Magazine has published these pictures but I just had to think about them again and thought about sharing them. Photographed by Steven Klein, my alltime favourite model (for years now) has been put in a quite controversial scene.

It’s that provocative play between the angel inside la Moss and the dark, the bad one. There could have been no better model to present sinner and saint in person than her.

The cold tones create that certain atmosphere that balances shiver and fascination (at least in me). The contradictory stands in focus of this editorial and there’s no doubt about the difficulty to decide between calling this a fairytale or the sexy interpretation of a fashionable horror scene.
