Oversize = Super size. Coat-wise. (feel the rhyme, everyone!)
I decided that it was time to try my luck with a cleanly cut, sophisticated, no-big-deal coat (what an awful overload of fancy fashion terms). A coat that doesn’t distract from regular looks yet should make a difference to the stereotypical fur hooded parkas and military/duffle coats in my wardrobe.
Cool without leaving me in a too try-hard mode (I’ll probably never be one of these sophisticated Scandinavian style inspired people without looking simply wrong) and a little bit classy, too, if possible, please.
After whining over the fact that there’s simply no single oversized coat that I really like in forever, I unconsciously found the absolute nicest oversized one to date at StyleSuite in Maastricht. (A classic: Just when you decided to give up on the search, the desired thing pops up)
I was reminded that size does matter thanks to these catchy paper bags of which one carried my wool mix hallelujah-piece and I meanwhile was also reminded that “buying something out of hysteria of never getting it” is no solution. Don’t give coat-jealousy a chance.
So, here we go with no candy pink, no tartan, no other trendy feature I might hate in one-year-time. Just a plain camel colored (exciting enough for someone who mostly owns black and olive coats), easily oversized piece. Needless to say that I’m convinced that this one here is the prettiest I’ve ever seen and none else is having it.
