Alltime Favourite Model: Cintia Dicker

Remember my first post talking about a favourite model? If not, then you better take a look here once in a while.

I thought about doing this again and why not taking one of the models I adore for a long time now?!

Following her on Instagram has just given me some even bigger appreciation of her look and if not her, then I don’t know who would ever make it into my alltime favourite models-list.

Cintia Dicker is definitely one of the most natural and prettiest girls I’ve ever seen. Her very “untouched” beauty and her incredible body remind me of the heavenly gifted girls of the 90s.

Not that her look seems nostalgic but it’s that Amazonian figure I already talked about and I miss in today’s model sector (and which you can re-read here) together with her remarkable characteristics, that make me feel slightly intimidated while looking at her.

The pout, the hair & her freckles – Cintia’s one of the few models who don’t need to put much effort to look pretty; dress her in some beachwear and lay her in the sand with some natural make up and she still looks just beautiful.

Born in Camp Bom, Brazil, the 27 year old with German roots has already walked for Gucci, Dsquared2 and Peter Som (just to name a few) and signed contracts with Storm Model Management London, Marilyn in Paris and New York as well as Why Not in Milan.

Her appearance in the Sports Illustrated has made her widely recognised and finally got her a job for Victoria’s Secret last year, which I was awaiting for a long time!

As I once said; today’s agencies seem to look for that unknown look; that average girl next door being put in some avant-garde and making her famous for 2 minutes in the entire fashion industry. Either this or quite the opposite: Unusual features like too small eyes, too big ears, weird noses and lately also awkward, dumb looking facial expressions – everything which basically doesn’t equal the norm but looks ugly and ridiculous in common sense.

That’s why I appreciate seeing someone like Cintia even more now and then – she’s one of those elfs with their bombshell sides who stands out in a positive appearance.

She’s neither underweight nor Kate Upton style and she’s just that perfect amount of natural inspiration everyone should desire.

Even the shy answers she’s been giving a few years ago when having interviews with Fashion TV and others make her gain sympathies; you can clearly see that she’s well aware of her beauty but would never make a bigger deal out of it than wanted.

I really do hope we’ll see more of Cintia this year! 4fd7fbd60fa84b7f89ae8e96903c5d5e
