Back in London means back to work.
I thought I could forget about all the amount that awaited me here in town but no; reality hit very hard on me when arriving last Sunday.
A week packed of getting clear on some things and partially done with others has clearly left its traces on the free time that was left, which was mainly used to reload the batteries with sleeping.
That’s why I wanted to celebrate the weekend a little more with getting out of the everyday-life-chaos and just enjoy the city again (something I haven’t done so much before the break).
I wore this sweater just once since I received it in summer and thought it would enhance this black-in-black look. The statement necklace wasn’t on the blog at all, which seems strange as it appears to establish itself as an alltime-favourite.
Sometimes, all you need is a pop of colour to make yourself feel a little more livelier. Sounds strange but had a major impact on me the past days; whenever I chose to wear my dark tones (and let me just underline that my closet mainly consists of these shades), I always went for something, that gets me out of this “I don’t care so much today”-look.
I guess I achieved what I intended to do and began the weekend quite well with a little stroll around Knightsbridge.
Hope you enjoyed the weekend & have a nice Sunday! :)
