The sparkling collar, which originally wasn’t meant to be mine turned out to be a good companion for some daily outfit enhancement just before Christmas.
Belonging to one of my mum’s dresses, she decided that she’s definitely not the sparkling collar type of woman (thank God, I have a mother with realistic, great and personal taste) and passed it on to me (I have to admit that it looked not quite good on the red dress anyways).
That’s why I took once again advantage and brought it back to London a few weeks before winterbreak in order to play around with it. I purchased a similar collar (if not the same) at Zara about a year ago and never wore it.
Since then, I gave up on this trend and stamped it as “not for me”.
Surprisingly, this one is much easier to combine (is it the neutral black that let it shine more positively for me!?) and so I just put on top of a basic look.
Curling my hair at the tips just came as a spontaneous idea. I normally don’t feel that sweet (who does in January at -2 degrees!?) but I just imagined this look with that kind of hairdo and went for it.
Hope you’re having a nice day. Uni may have started again but I kept some of my resolutions & attended that painful lecture today ;)
