The best and last day in 2012 I’d say. :)
The weather was kind as we decided to do some quick shots; I still can’t believe that it’s always been between -2 and +4 (which is way too warm for winter season up here).
Nevertheless, I was thankful as I wasn’t freezing too much (London windy weather is much bitchier).
I was taken to the smallest little village on the Arlberg, called Zug, at which I haven’t really been before. In more than 10 years. What a shame. It’s really small but also really cute and as I was surprised by an amazing chocolate fondue (you can take a look at it here) at the Auerhahn (absolutely recommendable!), I couldn’t have been happier.
For this occasion (and as I knew that we are going to end up at one of the huts, which are notorious/famous for their nice old-year goodbyes (aka. loud music, way too much alcohol and an embarrassing behaviour by many people surrounding you), I chose to dress simple and comfy.
That oversized, checked shirt is the best thing to fulfill the stereotypical atmosphere of a little Austrian posing in front of a weird cottage with (hello, lovely coincidence!) loads of wood in front of it.
I just loved the idea of using this background; the snow-only-background-thing was already shot days before and so I wasn’t really bothered to have the same again.
As the shadows were already covering everything, we just took this as a chance and I somehow like the colour that came out – the cold blueish tone together with my near-to-dead pale skin and the rest of the blue tones (shirt and jeans if you haven’t noticed yet) create a nice circle.
After all that jumping and running and posing I deserved my chocolate fondue quite well I think! ;)
Have a nice Sunday!
