There are certain outfits I create in my head long before I wear them (or long before I even have the right pieces to create that specific outfit).
This is definitely one of those head-fits I kept thinking about long before finally pulling it.
I love doing some contrasts within the materials, so no wonder lace & denim is a nice eyecatcher that perfectly worked for me! :)
The dress is a very unusual buy from a little store in Berlin, which I would have never entered if my friends didn’t want to go there one year ago. However, I associate beautiful memories with it whenever I put it on!
After I banned most of my Portobello-dresses (there is no clear description to such typical dresses but I always define them as cute, little hangers – no vintage but a lot of twirl and cuteness all around), I surprised myself even more with this dress and meanwhile ended the long search for a simple but pretty lace dress for the day, which makes the exception.
Adding a sparkling note to this very summery look, I chose to put my old Zara sandals on. I still love them to bits and it’s a shame I don’t wear them that often!
The nail polish (Astor Laque Deluxe, 840 Creamy Coral) is one of the colours I wanted to wear for weeks (I fully shared my crave in this post) and I like it a lot in this combination as it adds a light peachy tone, which helps to fulfill this rather girly look.
By the way: Wearing this denim jacket was completely unnecessary – temperatures were at 30 and I went crazy whenever it took longer than a few seconds to shoot me with it. I officially apologize for my bitchy moments ;)
