“Kate: The Kate Moss Book”…will be mine!

The announcement of the ultimate Kate Moss book obviously didn’t leave me unimpressed.

Although I already and hardly fell in love with the Mario Testino version years ago, I can’t wait to hold this much promising book in my hands in fall.

Published by Rizzoli (how could it be different after The Vogue Book and The Christian Louboutin Book?!), Kate: The Kate Moss Book (very simple, yet effective) will be released on 6th of November, which particularly makes me happy.

Just one day after my birthday. Could there be any better timing?!

I took these news as the perfect moment to dedicate a blogpost to my alltime-favourite model. Although I’m super critical about many different model types, the Kate crush started at about 13 and never really stopped.

I can’t even fully describe what exactly holds me on to crown her as the absolute number 1 on my model list but Kate seems so timeless and cool, always with that rock chic, which still makes me go crazy when spotting her in a magazine.

Her everlasting looks, which kept some basic principles she always relies on together with an outstanding face and a great variety of different facets as a model hold her in the industry’s big loop.

No wonder: She definitely kept that certain innocent sinner-expression, which started the whole herion-chic wave of the 90s while building her way up to the model olympus.

The world was able to see the evolving Kate: From the innocent 14 year old Croydon-girl to the Calvin Klein-lolita face to one of the best paid models down to her cocaine eclat and up to the unbeatable Miss Moss who still rocks today’s magazines and campaigns like no other.

And now another mile stone of her career is built – a whole dedication summarising all the moments of her outstanding career.

Whoever said that Kate “doesn’t know what to do with herself” is hopefully taught differently with this publication.

She’s amazing. And I can’t wait for this release.

The book will be published with 8 different covers. Here you go with my 3 favourites
