Pleated back

After spending Saturday’s dinner vey relaxed in my loafers and distressed shorts, I chose to wear something edgy for the night.

This time, I put some pieces together that I haven’t worn in quite a while now and that definitely needed to get some more recognition again (especially the trousers (very vespertine!) always appeared to me as difficult).

However, I once again realised one thing: There is no cooler, sleeker and more sophisticated combination than pulling some hot pieces all in the same tone yet not  of the same material!

Although one of my most honest critics still doubted about the Wang combination down there on my feet (and I admit that brown and black may be not everyone’s cup of tea), I just felt right to get them out.

Pulling my hair back may be a challenge every time (I will never get the perfect bun) but this shirt just needed to get full attention after I heavily fell in love with it. That shorter-front-longer-back trend has been going on for quite a while now (and I firstly followed it on New Year’s Eve) but I always kept in doubts when doing this in a top-version.

Something always told me that there is a  good chance to look like the female version of Batman (or the witch in Snow White or any other character having some kind of dark cape) but with this top Céline has proven me wrong.*

(and even if I looked like one of these amazing characters I will still love it ;))

My accessory choice got reduced as I just threw on my red CdC and combined this old yet adorable clutch.

I let all the different fabrics and cuts speak for themselves. There you go!

Top: Céline

Trousers: Tom Ford

Bracelet: Hermès

Clutch: Henri Bendel New York

Heels: Alexander Wang

*And I refused to get crazy about that whole Céline hype for a long time but now let her win over my fashion state of mind.
