The problematic of white blazers, the question of the golden detail amount and a final outcome of my fear.
Another summer day that underlined my obsessions a little more. Next to being an honest blazer/jacket-fanatic, I’m also falling for these shorts meet blazer-combinations.
I bought this blazer last year and never wore it before … why? Because I somehow find it hard to wear white blazers in general (always associate circus directors with it – and have no idea how this comes) as it can quickly become cheap looking.
Especially with golden details, which I love so much, it seems a little hard to get “the right” amount of white and gold together without doing a completely wrong job.
Before putting on one of my favourite pair of earrings, I tried creoles, which sometimes tend to look really good as a contrast to a classic blazer combination, but fatally failed as I looked like a little chav who’s up for no good (there you would have seen the perfect gold-meets-white-gone-wrong trap I was fearing).
Together with my striped shorts I tried to give that look a little fresher attitude without leaving the “conservative” leaned on base.
Have a nice weekend! :)
