And here we go with the second half of yesterday. This was not about shoes but filled with my favourite fine jeweller!
Mawi has had a fabulous sample sale taking place at their headquarters in North London and I was going mad about all the different pieces being reduced to incredible prices. The knuckle ring was in my eye for a long time since I came across it over and over again but as I was seeing it lying there between other pieces of the Pretty Tough collection, I was THAT close to get it. Until I saw my favourite. The earrings I was dreaming of in a long time & which I was liking, loving, hyping on each and every thinkable internet platform. Not only that they’re currently displayed on Mawi’s homepage, they also found another home: My decent treasure chest. The moment I held them to my ears was the moment I knew: They are mine! After I heard my friend saying “they are so Anna” I was even more encouraged to get them and now I just can barely wait to wear them. As I was turning my head towards the ring, it was already gone and so my decision was easily made. I’m curious of how I will integrate these fine pieces into my daily outfits but I’m convinced I can make it. I always can when I’m madly in love with something.;) Accompanied by a super relaxed atmosphere, Mawi lovers were completely welcome and able to get some professional advises from the team. What I personally liked most (and I’m not speaking for myself but also for my friends) was the kind way everyone from the Mawi team was behaving and talking with someone. Even Mawi herself was completely open minded, friendly and far away from any snobby designer attitudes! That together with these amazing pieces of her past collections made this day totally worth it.
I hope Mawi gives this opportunity some time again!
