And here we go with the last birthday post featuring my look for the actual birthday dinner at the Asia De Cuba at St Martins Lane Hotel.
I firstly thought of a beautiful dress by Felder Felder I received a while a go but then decided to leave this possible for New Year’s Eve (it’s very special and I’m thrilled to pull it for this occasion!).
That’s why I decided to keep it as dark as usual and get one of my favourite jackets out again.
I lastly wore this blue-lilac velvet blazer on the second Christmas Day and as I already wrote: Velvet is definitely one of those materials, which always add the festive, fine note (if, as always, worn in the right way).
I realised that the dress is a little short (actually very) but didn’t care too much about it – I’m still young (although there are only 9 years left till I turn 30 ;)) how long will I be able to wear such a length?! It might be ridiculous some day and then I regret the times I didn’t get to use my young moments to the max.
Of course it’s a bit dumb to talk about it – 21 is nothing and I’m still having the whole world to conquer (wishful thinking much..?! ;)) but I wrote about this age topic several times.
You just change your look over the years. From being experimental (which I still am) to much more settled (which I am too, not yet too much) to possibly ending up knowing what fits best at any time (and I know what I should wear at all times but I guess I won’t pull that green fluo skirt when I’m more approaching my 30s).
I firstly left my hair open and just did that bun last minute (even on this re-shoot) – sometimes it just looks cleaner to get everything straight and I prefer putting my hair together for more occasions.
Have a nice Friday :)
