Ready to take off?

I’m so incredibly looking forward to these final holidays before University gets me back!

I can’t even fully describe how I’m feeling but it’s been a while since I’ve been travelling to a country I’ve never been before. Just like it is this time’s case.

There are so many thoughts in my head at the moment – it’s hard to share them in senseful ways.

And all these usual questions, which plague me wherever I travel (even if it’s just a short weekend trip to Vienna or Paris):

What shall I take with me?

What will I wear?

What will I seriously wear?

(FOR REAL!)?

How many pairs of shoes? Is that enough? Is it too less?

How heavy is this going to be? Do I want to know this? (No!, of course).

And then the more specific ones: Are all of these things appropriate to my destination’s culture? Will this be useful? Will I be freezing inside the malls and dying of overheating outside?

After reviewing approximately 300 different posts from other bloggers, I decided to do what I’m always doing: Take the things you first thought of, then look at the rest, take what you like and end up asking yourself whether a second, third and fourth piece of luggage would do much difference in travelling costs.

I guess I took every kind of piece with me: Cardigans, jackets, appropriate skirts, dresses, the one or another pretty top which is not totally covering up everything and (of course) loads of beachwear.

I’m crazily looking forward to take off Cologne … and touch down in Dubai! :)
