…There could have been no better title for this post. As I’m currently ignoring my duties as a student and prefer watching old series, Clueless is the perfect substitute. Cher being the protagonist was my absolute favourite back in the days where an assassinated Barbie was the biggest problem. I simply loved her style. Until now, I can’t clearly decide whether she and her best friend, Dion, were mistaking high school with some Beverly Hills bad taste party or whether this was the absolute sophistication of the 90s (something I ask myself when looking at some pictures of myself in kindergarden, too).

Although both girls demonstrate the former ways of colour blocking and the ability to mix and match different patterns with unacceptable footwear, I just can’t drown myself in any colours at the moment. Being THAT close to my final assignments and exams somehow gives me the feeling of being forced to to something … and still makes me do nothing about it. The same attitude surely reflects on my way to dress. Black in black and the most colourful part are the tiny pink stripes on a Burlington patterned pullover. While half of this world is sunbathing and enjoying “SUCH A  NICE WEATHER HERE LOVE IT OMG”, I don’t really care about pulling my neon pleated skirt at the moment. I SHOULD do something to get in a better mood…(maybe starting one of my essays in Journalism!? Maybe learning for Operations Management?) but then Cher and Dion are waiting for me to watch them complaining about their limited credit cards and I’m beaming myself to OC 1995. Bye bye attempts to be a genius, bye bye good ideas on essay arguments. Hello, (being) clueless!
