Thinking to be over something is naive. (Because if you are, you’re probably not thinking about it at all).
And just when I thought that I’m over and out with studded things for now (though no cease of a personal fave wave will ever keep me away from wearing my beloved studded velvet Loubis), a beautiful Valentino headband turned up and looked at me so temptingly that I almost couldn’t resist few weeks ago.
But I did and yet I’m visiting MY headband (the taupe one to be precise) on a weekly basis at Liberty’s while greeting it nicely online everyday (creepy much, huh?). Although I stayed away from the rockstud collection for exactly that ROCKSTUD reason (contrary to my mother), I decided to try this love on just to see how ridiculous it might look on me.
Ridiculous not at all. The studs on the headband don’t even appear as harsh as I expected them to be and to the extent that studs can appear classy instead of edgy, Valentino’s studs are the ones that definitely do.

It’s the perfect little accessory enhancer for day and night.
Wear it to some pair of blue jeans, white shirt, a statement bag, decently (!) looking biker boots or other laid back shoes and off you go for the day. Wear it to your LBD, a beautiful clutch and a contrasting jewellery piece and you’ve got the night gear ready.
I’ve been working like a marathon psychopath the past weeks (and next week is going to be a nightmare); I should probably treat myself a little well in between!?
I’m still making up my mind on it but in the meantime I’ll let you check the different headbands and my imaginary outfits out.. and hope that I won’t wait too long with this life changing decision.
