A cold but sunny Sunday, a walk around my favourite places in the city’s heart and some few calm moments: All I needed to reload for another week filled with a lot of uni things in my head.

Sometimes you just need to get a few hours off to get a refreshed mind and some new ideas.

That’s why we decided to stroll around Mayfair, do the occasional Bondstreet roundup and ended up eating some quick and simple dinner at Harvey Nichols.

I saw myself finally able to pull my utterly loved trench coat I received more than a month ago. These are those purchases you don’t really plan but always have in your head as kind of “oh need to get myself some time soon..next time I’m passing the store, I’ll pop in”.

Well, luckily I did so at some point when (oh what a coincidence) my dad was in town.

Many men tend to be a little fatigued by the shopping habits of a woman but either it’s because I’m a very focused shopper – I most of the time know what I want, I get it and then I leave (no big yay-or-nay debates, no big blahblah with the shop assistants (hate this SO MUCH), no unnecessary airs and graces).

Or it is because my dad is a very well trained man in this field.

But he’s definitely one of the most tolerant and persistent shopping companions one could wish for (the man behind the cam is also very persistent but tends to suffer a little more after a while).

That’s why it was a very joyous Saturday sometime in September when I passed the flagship store of Burberry and was like “Okay, let’s get in there now. I just want to take a look around and see what they have. Maybe I’ll get a more concrete imagination of what kind I want.”

And just like that, my beautiful green friend with its double leather throat latch and cuffs and very slim fitted cut has found me.

I firstly wanted to go for the classic beige version, then decided that I’ve seen enough of it. I guess this was the great beginning of a long lasting love story.

What else to say? It already proved great resistance against wind and weather conditions.

And for this reason, I was happy to finally get a day like this (and not a rainy one) to put it in right scene – the light, the area .. I really like the outcome of this spontaneous shoot :)
