First few hours here in Dubai…mainly spent with unpacking all the clothes, eating and enjoying the incredibly warm temperatures (38 degrees at 10 pm) as well as the sight from our room.
Although we arrived in the evening, we were able to have an incredible look on the Jumeirah palm straight from our hotel room, which left me speechless for a second.
Staying at the Mina A’Salam, which belongs to the Madinat Jumeirah hotel group, was one of the greatest choices (I can already feel it ;)).
“Nestled on the shores of the Arabian Gulf“, I barely can wait for the sun to turn up and surprise with an even nicer view.
Styled with exquisitely designed interior and touched with a typical oriental note, our room is amazing and the service is great so far.
Picked up straight from the airport, we got surprised by a super nice welcome offering everything we were aiming for.
Even the tables for the upcoming days were already confirmed and the receptionist was super exerted (which may be the Russian-to-Russian case as we quickly figured her origin out ;)).
The welcoming hall is shrouded in a wonderful flowery odour and although I’m usually preferring the more modernly designed side, I was sheerly surprised by the beauty of the traditional interior.
So after unpacking most of the stuff, we decided to take a bite down at one of the restaurants, which offered all ranges of different typical Anna food (from Indian to Asian to typical Arabic food (which all belongs to one great foodporn pot at the end of the day) – I couldn’t have been any happier.
Smoking some mint Shisha was definitely the crown on top of a longer trip and a beautiful welcome to a place I’ve never been before.
Stay tuned for a daily Dubai update here and for some in-between-shots on my Facebook page! :)
