Short shorts in Ibiza, Night 4

So here we go with night number 4 spent in the old part of Ibiza town.

I didn’t do this last time I was here and I just got completely astonished by the way everything is still intact. No wonder this belongs to the UNESCO world cultural heritage. Being placed on the “peak” of Ibiza, this old part is like another town itself.

With old but still preserved buildings and an outstandingly relaxed and beautiful atmosphere, the tradition and charme of this old town have caught me immediately. One restaurant seems cuter than the other and the way people seem to look after everything makes it totally special and absolutely worthy to visit once you’re in Ibiza.

Luckily, it’s not the main season for this island and so we got the chance to take a look at everything without constantly bumping into other people.

It somehow turned out to be harder than expected when it came to taking pictures of various parts of this town (I’m just not a perfect night photographer) and so I left it as a kind of “sign” to let it be and rather enjoy this magical place than complaining about my photography skills.

As I was not bothered to walk around in any heels (heels & old (slippery!) stone paths will never be friends!), I decided for my normal, black flats and some comfy shorts, which I can only wear in my leisure time as they (obviously) appear to be much shorter than I remembered them.

This must be a new (in fact: old – what’s new, huh!?) trend high street shops start copying from the stereotypical British girls, who love to even share half of their bum with the outer world in “high waist shorts” and such examples (my daily tube rides remind me that some people are just not meant to wear these kinds of shorts).

Fortunately, this wasn’t my case and so I went for them in combination to my red crochet top I got some weeks ago.

Although I see RED crochet as a little problematic (it seems as if I overcome several fears during the past time – remember my white blazer & shoes :D), I loved the shape in which it was manufactured.

The peplum styled way takes a lot of wind out of the trap in looking cheap and gets even more dumped by the leather jacket I took with me.
