Bows and me – a critical thing. I hate them and I love them. I find them childish, I find them cute.

It’s a never-ending love-hate relationship that I have with bows of any kind and yet, quite recently, I find myself glancing at them like the little child that I associate with ridiculously oversized bows.

So it happened, that I decided to go back to the temporarily banned McQueen scarves (so 2011) and tied this blue thing to an oversized bow.

The simple thought that this bow is adorned with skulls in a surprisingly untypical batik look (so hippie, too! – not that I would ever adore this stupid neo-hippie movement) gave me enough confidence to pull it – sometimes it’s the own thought of knowing that something is not as cute is it looks in the moment, which counts.
